There are people that are having a hard time losing weight because they are doing it the wrong way. People that believe in myths and special supplements and diets (that supposedly help reduce weight) end up spending a fortune and still look the same. This can be very disappointing for some because aside from wasting their money, they still haven’t achieved what they aspired for in the first place. In order to accomplish a successful weight loss, an individual must follow strict and precise scientific procedures. </p>
<p>There are five important factors that should be followed. First, one should calculate the amount of calories they require each day - including the amount of activity they perform - and only eat a certain quantity. This will lead to losing a few calories per week. Second, eat several fruits and vegetables everyday in order to acquire a balanced nutrition. Third, always watch out for the size of each food portion that you eat. Fourth, never skip meals. Going through the day with an empty stomach is dangerous and can cause serious problems. Eat small frequent meals to help stabilize diet and calorie intake. Lastly, eat foods that are fresh. Always purchase fresh food and avoid processed and fast foods. Packaged rations often contain high sodium and fat, making your weight loss regimen ineffective.</p>
<p>Doctors and therapists also recommend exercise once or twice a week 20-30 minutes in duration to fully reward your weight loss experience. Also, eating the right kind of food and checking the amount of intake should not be overly restrictive in the sense that you also allow yourself a little indulgence in what you want to eat. By having the proper nutrition and following these guidelines, you are on your way to the figure you will be happy with.</p>

It functions to supply the rest of our organs with oxygen-rich blood; pumps out carbon dioxide – oxygenation’s by-product – through the lungs, and makes it possible to deliver nutrients towards different areas of our body and take away waste materials for disposal. All of these wouldn’t be feasible without the heart’s pumping mechanism. As such, it is understandable why keeping your heart healthy must be a priority. One way of achieving this is by eating right.</p>
<p>-	Cut off on fat by avoiding food with saturated fat and low density lipoproteins (LDLs). Replace red meats with skinless chickens, turkey, or fish. Avoid dairy fats too by drinking low-fat, skimmed, or soy milk.</p>
<p>-	Increase the roughage in your diet by eating a lot of fiber which can be found in fruits and vegetables. These prevent the accumulation of plaque in the arteries, lowering risks of heart attack up to more than 25 percent.</p>
<p>-	Delight your hearts with heart-friendly foods like fruits, seafood, soy, a hand full of nuts, whole-grain breads, cereals, and fish with omega-3 fatty acids.</p>
<p>-	Eat Mediterranean and Asian food regularly! People who eat such food have lower chances of getting heart disease compared to those who have appetites for American food. You don’t need to completely shift into these diets. Just incorporate them into your existing recipes.</p>
<p>-	Cheers to red wine! In moderation, the alcohol in red wine increases high-density lipoproteins (HDL) in the blood and thins the blood, decreasing chances of developing blood clots which can cause a stroke or a heart attack. Red wine is also rich in bioflavonoids which make fat deposits less likely to stick on the arterial walls.</p>
<p>-	Avoid processed food because they contain tons of sodium. Eat up to 3 cloves of garlic a day to lower your blood pressure and cholesterol.</p>
<p>Of course, feasting on the right food is not an adequate guarantee that your heart will be kept in optimal shape. As a muscular organ, performing physical exercises is ideal. Maintaining an overall healthy lifestyle is the best key into achieving a healthy and happy heart.</p>

While those that take on a crash diet in the hopes that they will attain a much sexier physique, in the long run, they will be surprised to find that they only end up with stomach disorders. For example, ulcer is triggered whenever there is a lack of food inside the intestines and the friction between the intestinal muscles bruise the lining thus making it very painful.  </p>
<p>In order to avoid such ailments and still maintain or attain a slim body; one must follow these tips toward a healthy lifestyle:</p>
<p>•	Eat the right kind of food – The best way to acquire the essential nutrients, minerals and vitamins that the body needs is to eat the right choice of foods. Food such as cereals, meat, dairy products, vegetables and fruits provide a steady supply of good nutrition to the body. These foods provide the best nutrients to achieve a healthy body.<br />
•	Drink 8 or more glasses of water a day – Hydrating the body through the proper amount of water intake every day is the best way to cleanse it from all the toxins and waste materials it accumulates.<br />
•	Exercise regularly – Working out regularly once or twice a week is the best way to excrete the dirt inside the body through sweating. It is also a good way to increase the body’s endurance and flexibility.<br />
•	Enough rest – One should have the proper amount of rest and relaxation in a day. This is the best way to recharge the body from work and enables the body to prepare for the next day.</p>
<p>Once a person has done all the things above correctly, a good and healthy lifestyle can be enjoyed. One should always remember to do everything in moderation especially when going on a diet. In order to fully succeed in life, one must have a healthy body to pursue the things they desire.</p>

<p>One major habit that increases body toxins is the consumption of unhealthy food or junk food. Four of the 10 leading causes of death in the Untied States are related to improper diet. Diabetes, heart disease, cancer and stroke are dangerous ailments that can be avoided by eating the right kind of diet. This means that we should consume a variety of healthy foods to acquire the nutrition that our body needs. </p>
<p>The five main food groups that we should consider in our nutrition diet are fruits, vegetables, cereals, dairy, fish and meat products. Essential vitamins and minerals are acquired from a healthy balance of these food groups. There are also a food group serving size that depends upon various factors such as age, activity level, body size and gender. Note that it is also important for a person to eat a variety of foods from within and across the food groups to ensure that one gets the maximum recommended nutrition.</p>
<p>Daily exercise also helps promote good health as well as physical fitness. Combined with a healthy diet, exercise helps protect your body from diseases such as the ones mentioned above. <p>A common characteristic in many young children today is their tendency to have large waistlines just like a typical adult. Obesity ranks as one of top causes of heart problems.  Most children who are obese are not involved in certain activities. Children should ideally do activities like playing and sports but a lifestyle without this is prone to develop a high risk for heart problems later on.  </p>
<p>Heart problems arise in children due to many factors. Congenital heart defects are problems that kids are born with. The good thing is that, the numbers are already reduced due to advanced technology. Heart murmur, on the other hand, sometimes is considered a symptom to a larger problem but hereditary heart problems are not that common unlike any other hereditary diseases. </p>
<p>Children who have heart problems exhibit common symptoms such as shortness of breath, a blue tinge in skin around the lips, and they easily tire when doing simple work. This is due to the reduced oxygen supply in the body. Most parents worry that their children won’t stay long due to their illness and die instantly. Fortunately, this is not the usual case. Some of these children can live even longer due to certain treatments and medications.</p>
<p>Cardiologists can be consulted to take care of this issue. Parents of these kids usually see their pediatrician every now and then but not all heart problems need life-long medications. There are some cases where treatment may not be necessary. Minor heart problems in children sometimes are gone after a couple of years after. </p>

There are so much of those advertisements that teach you how to lose your fats or lecture you about what you should and shouldn’t eat. There are also work-out videos rampantly sold that promise to deliver six-packs abs and slender figures. But these are not a “one-size-fits-all” remedy and some find no satisfaction in pursuing them. This led science to create machines to effectively shed those bulging belly fats. But still, for some people, this hasn’t really worked perfectly. Even direct abs exercises has only caused bodies fatigue, to the point “over-training”. Not only that, sit-ups also create muscles underneath your belly fats, making them more difficult to shed.<br />
The truth about getting a slim, awesome, and head-turning figure is to live a real healthy lifestyle, work-outs, and focus on a living a fit life by following these three simple rules:</p>

But consuming more than healthy amounts of ice cubes indicates that this refreshing &#8220;snack” has become an addiction. Yes, there is such a thing. The strange addiction to eating ice cubes is called pagophagia.<br />
Enjoying a cube of ice once in a while could be a nice past time for some, but taking such likeness to eating ice cubes to the extreme might mean that you are suffering some nutritional deficiency. Consumption of excessive quantity of ice or pagophagia can be a symptom for anemia.<br />
In the past, no link was made between the aforementioned disease and this strange pica (craving to eat or consume largely unhealthy objects such as paper, dirt, soap, etc.). It was on 1969 that an initial study was published where it was revealed that severe iron deficiency anemia was marked by pagophagia. Anemic individuals usually do not connect their unusual appetite for ice cubes to their ailment, until their doctors ask them about it. People with this addiction love to order their extra-large iced tea with lots of ice, or would prefer to sip on their glass of water filled with lots of ice cubes. Some anemic persons would get their water bottle and put it in the freezer so that they could drink ice cold water. That is called bottle freezing, which is somehow a subtler variation of ice cube eating.<br />
On a closer study, it appears like some forms of pica are due to some nutritional deficiency. On the case at hand, it seems that ice tastes better to a person when he is having iron deficiency. Some doctors observe that when one suffers from severe iron deficiency, the coldness of ice or iced water or liquid soothes the esophageal tenderness that he experiences. Aside from that observation, the occurrence of pagophagia in anemic persons cannot yet be given a better explanation by the medical world. </p>

In order to have a healthy body, we have to supply it with foods that are rich in nutrients .We need to avoid vices that might contribute to a disease, particularly heart disease. A well balanced diet of food containing all the nutrients will be preferable. There are seven major classes of nutrients: carbohydrates, fats, fiber, minerals protein, vitamin, and water. Poor health might be caused by the deficiency or excess of the required nutrients. People who are underweight are at high risk of contacting any physical and mental diseases. While, excessive consumption of calories coupled with the lack of physical activity will lead to obesity. Instead of eating a balanced diet, obese people consume too much calorie.</p>
<p> Healthy people have stronger immune system, thus lesser risk to any diseases, making them more productive. Obtaining a healthy body takes a lot of effort and determination. We need to discipline ourselves, for us to have a healthy lifestyle. Being healthy doesn’t require much money. You can always be healthy by doing any form of physical activity as an alternative of a fitness program.. Instead of buying meat and expensive sweet foods buy vegetables, it is healthier and cheaper. A better lifestyle habit can help us reduce the risk of heart attack, diabetes and other diseases. A healthy lifestyle starts with a healthy eating habit, which begins by choosing the right type of food and preparing them the right way. Various types of exercise and daily activities can also be helpful for us. With a healthy lifestyle, we can assure that we will face tomorrow with confidence.</p>
