This disease accounts for most cases of debilitation and even death, especially in adults, but recently, it has been noted that heart problems can be found in young children.</p>
<p>A common characteristic in many young children today is their tendency to have large waistlines just like a typical adult. Obesity ranks as one of top causes of heart problems.  Most children who are obese are not involved in certain activities. Children should ideally do activities like playing and sports but a lifestyle without this is prone to develop a high risk for heart problems later on.  </p>
<p>Heart problems arise in children due to many factors. Congenital heart defects are problems that kids are born with. The good thing is that, the numbers are already reduced due to advanced technology. Heart murmur, on the other hand, sometimes is considered a symptom to a larger problem but hereditary heart problems are not that common unlike any other hereditary diseases. </p>
<p>Children who have heart problems exhibit common symptoms such as shortness of breath, a blue tinge in skin around the lips, and they easily tire when doing simple work. This is due to the reduced oxygen supply in the body. Most parents worry that their children won’t stay long due to their illness and die instantly. Fortunately, this is not the usual case. Some of these children can live even longer due to certain treatments and medications.</p>
<p>Cardiologists can be consulted to take care of this issue. Parents of these kids usually see their pediatrician every now and then but not all heart problems need life-long medications. There are some cases where treatment may not be necessary. Minor heart problems in children sometimes are gone after a couple of years after. </p>
<p>It is important to understand what our heart is saying. A simple murmur may sound nothing but, can create a great dilemma in the end. Everything should not be disregarded for the reason that, reviving a dying heart is hard to achieve.</p>

<p> Of course anyone would like to have a lean perfect body that whenever he/she tucked their shirt nothing will hung over their belts. It feels good to be able to wear clothes you desire and comfy fit to you.<br />
There are so much of those advertisements that teach you how to lose your fats or lecture you about what you should and shouldn’t eat. There are also work-out videos rampantly sold that promise to deliver six-packs abs and slender figures. But these are not a “one-size-fits-all” remedy and some find no satisfaction in pursuing them. This led science to create machines to effectively shed those bulging belly fats. But still, for some people, this hasn’t really worked perfectly. Even direct abs exercises has only caused bodies fatigue, to the point “over-training”. Not only that, sit-ups also create muscles underneath your belly fats, making them more difficult to shed.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many people enjoy eating and crunching ice cubes in their mouths. Sometimes, there’s nothing like having that as a refreshing break from the warm weather. But consuming more than healthy amounts of ice cubes indicates that this refreshing &#8220;snack” has become an addiction. Yes, there is such a thing. The strange addiction to eating ice cubes is called pagophagia.<br />
Enjoying a cube of ice once in a while could be a nice past time for some, but taking such likeness to eating ice cubes to the extreme might mean that you are suffering some nutritional deficiency. Consumption of excessive quantity of ice or pagophagia can be a symptom for anemia.<br />
In the past, no link was made between the aforementioned disease and this strange pica (craving to eat or consume largely unhealthy objects such as paper, dirt, soap, etc.). It was on 1969 that an initial study was published where it was revealed that severe iron deficiency anemia was marked by pagophagia. Anemic individuals usually do not connect their unusual appetite for ice cubes to their ailment, until their doctors ask them about it. People with this addiction love to order their extra-large iced tea with lots of ice, or would prefer to sip on their glass of water filled with lots of ice cubes. Some anemic persons would get their water bottle and put it in the freezer so that they could drink ice cold water. That is called bottle freezing, which is somehow a subtler variation of ice cube eating.<br />
On a closer study, it appears like some forms of pica are due to some nutritional deficiency. On the case at hand, it seems that ice tastes better to a person when he is having iron deficiency. Some doctors observe that when one suffers from severe iron deficiency, the coldness of ice or iced water or liquid soothes the esophageal tenderness that he experiences. Aside from that observation, the occurrence of pagophagia in anemic persons cannot yet be given a better explanation by the medical world. </p>

Poor health might be caused by the deficiency or excess of the required nutrients. People who are underweight are at high risk of contacting any physical and mental diseases. While, excessive consumption of calories coupled with the lack of physical activity will lead to obesity. Instead of eating a balanced diet, obese people consume too much calorie.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Repetitive strain injury or RSI is a disorder by chronic misuse or repetitive movements of some body parts such as the hands, arms, neck and upper back. Patients, who are diagnosed with RSI, usually complain of unspecific or diffuse pain in the tendons and nerve distribution in the area. The pain usually tends to worsen especially during activities accompanied with weakening or numbness.<br />
CTS or carpal tunnel syndrome on the other hand affects specific nerves on the wrist. The cause and symptoms may be similar but some misdiagnose CTS with RSI.<br />
Although these are not life threatening, they can create discomfort. There are lots of factors to consider in the development of such that puts everybody at risk.  Repetitive tasks such as driving or simply using the computer can trigger RSI or CTS. Poor posture, cold temperatures and rapid movements can be causes as well.<br />
To prevent RSI or CTS you can do the following:<br />
1. Take short breaks if you start to feel pain or fatigue from a repetitive activity.<br />
2. Regularly exercise by stretching or bending.<br />
3. Have a proper and cozy posture.<br />
4. Use proper and comfortable techniques in completing a tediously repeating task.<br />
5. Use ergonomically designed tools, devices or equipments.<br />
 6. Do not use forceful movements.<br />
7. Keep yourself warm if you are in a cold environment.<br />
8. Eat healthy and nutritious food to supplement and strengthen your body.</p>
<p>RSI and CTS maybe work related injuries. But you can have these conditions even during leisure activities such as swimming, biking, dancing or by just simply watching TV.</p>

<p>Bad cholesterol, which is known as LDL or low density lipids, is the common culprit of heart diseases or fatal heart attacks. High cholesterol concentration in our body is sometimes genetic and so, proper care for your overall health condition is the only combating tool to prevent health disruptions from happening.</p>
<p>The only way to fight health risks is to have better understanding about cholesterol, its functions and effects on the body.</p>
<p>Good cholesterol is also known as HDL or high density lipids. Unlike LDL which may get stocked on the walls of your blood vessels because of its density, HDL easily floats along with the blood cells and plasma. As a result, it promotes better blood circulation and nutrient distribution throughout the body, lessening blockages in heart arteries.</p>
<p>When LDL levels get higher, you will start feeling pain that takes place within the heart cavity. This is due to the spasm of artery which results to the abnormal functioning of the heart. The worse thing that can happen is when the heart will stop working. When the arteries fail to function, this can cause death eventually. Cardio exercises are on top of my daily routines. When I have time and money, I also play tennis and badminton. As of this time, I am saving up for a lightweight bike I can use for training rides, mountain trailing and just plain reconnoitering.</p>
<p>These activities have been a part of me for many years. But if you think that I have that athletic physique by now, that&#8217;s when things start to show less of me. My body does not reflect my active lifestyle well. That’s because my metabolism happens to be rather slow. Five kilometer runs and two hour non-stop badminton games do not always make me sweat out. Too often, I would just end up panting and feeling sticky but not as drenched as the others.</p>
<p>Through all these activities, supplements such as essential oils help me stay fit. Food supplements make up for nutrients that are denatured over time through improper food handling, care and cooking. Essential oils help aid in loss fat loss and eventually improve our skin, hair and nails. It hydrates the skin and keeps it smooth with fewer wrinkles. And it allows hair and nails to grow healthier and more rapidly.</p>
