Posted by admin in Tips on 09 15th, 2009| icon3No Comments »

In order to help you reduce your wrinkles and fine lines, I have compiled some information and guidelines for you to consider. The following have been proven safe and effective in ridding your self of those tell-tale signs of aging.

• Green tea and white tea are packed with powerful anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidant help eliminate harmful substances from your body. So start drinking plenty of tea. The best time is to take it every morning, afternoon snacks and before going to sleep.

• Start eating plenty of leafy foods or green salads like spinach. These provisions are rich in Vitamin E and Vitamin A. These vitamins are very powerful in maintaining the glow of your skin and the accuracy of your eyes.

• Keep drinking plenty of water. This will help replenish your inner self and keep your skin moisturized.

• Keep a healthy lifestyle. Avoid vices and bad habits such as smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages. If you find it too difficult to stop smoking, you can find alternatives to diminish the urge, such as chewing on nicotine gums and applying nicotine patches. These will assist in reducing your smoking habit.

• Make sure to keep your skin moisturize by using good quality lotion and moisturizing cream.

• It is when we sleep that our body reenergizes and regenerates. So it is vital that you get a good night’s sleep at least 6-8 hours every day. Taking enough rest is a great remedy for all sorts of stress. Stress is actually one of the major contributing factors for the appearance of wrinkles on your forehead.

Well that should do it. But on a side note, we really can’t stop the aging process, so we can’t avoid the formation of wrinkles. As we get older, they will naturally appear. So don’t obsess too much on keeping your youth. The best thing to do about aging is to live your life to the fullest, with a healthy lifestyle and a positive outlook.

What is social anxiety? According to various resources, social anxiety or social phobia is referring to excessive social anxiety causing a person to experience significant distress, which later lead on to an impaired ability to function even under normal circumstances. Symptoms include being overly self-conscious; setting high standards for one self and despairing when they are not met; and paying great attention to one’s actions after an activity. In the behavioral aspect, people with great social anxiety tend to fear situations in which they are exposed to possible scrutiny. Physical symptoms may comprise blushing, stomach ache, a fast heartbeat and gagging while in public. Research say that the cause of this disorder encompasses multiple perspectives on neuroscience and sociology. Basically, scientists have yet to pinpoint the exact cause of social anxiety or social phobia. But studies suggest that genetics can be a major contributor, in combination with environmental factors. Studies have rendered evidence of the efficacy of two forms of treatment fro social anxiety. One is a certain medication and the other is a specific form of short term psychotherapy called Cognitive behavioral therapy or CBT. If you are suffering from social anxiety, here are some tips that could help make you comfortable when subjected to a social gathering.

Preoccupy your self

Focus on other people

Fit in like everyone else

Release anxiety through breathing

For me, social anxiety is a result of the lack of care and support from distinct authority figures, a highly competitive culture and poor social education in families.
